At the recent Local Authority Building Control (LABC) 2011 Building Excellence Awards, Seamans Building were represented in the following categories for the Balancing Barn project at Thorington:

LABC - Best technical design and construction - Finalist
LABC - Best sustainable building - Finalist
LABC - Best partnesrship - Winner
