Suffolk Skills for Seamans Apprentices

Two of Seamans Building’s apprentices, Will Brew-Butler and Ashley Davey, were selected to compete on the Suffolk Skills stand at the 2008 Suffolk Show in May.

Representing West Suffolk College in the Bricklaying awards, Seamans Building apprentice Will Brew-Butler, and his team mate, beat Suffolk New College and Otley college to win the West Suffolk Construction Training Group Perpetual Challenge Cup for Bricklaying.

In the Carpentry and Joinery Challenge, Seamans Building apprentice Ashley Davey, working with his team mate, represented Suffolk New College and were successful in beating West Suffolk College, to be awarded the Ipswich and District Construction Training Group Perpetual Challenge Cup for Joinery.

This continues a winning tradition for our apprentices and highlights the standards of quality being achieved by our employees.
