Seamans Building’s management team include staff qualified to CIOB and RICS standards, as well as staff who are Health and Safety qualified to IOSH standards. Many of the team hold CSCS cards reflecting their specific roles within the Company.

Site Managers are SMSTS trained, ensuring that the Compay’s Management and Health and Safety standards are maintained.

We are pursuing our aim of ultimately having all office and site staff CSCS carded, and progress made to date is already showing benefits.

We subscribe to and support the principles contained within the ‘Considerate Constructors’ scheme, with several of our sites participating.

We are also proud to have received 11 Craftsmanship Awards, as well as Apprentice Awards from the Suffolk Association of Architects.

In 2006 we were awarded the Daily Telegraph Homebuilding and Renovating Magazine’s Timber Frame award.

In 2007 a Housing Association project currently under construction by Seamans Building, in Elmswell, was a project winner in the Housing Design Awards promoted by Communities and Local Government, NHBC, RIBA, The Royal Town Planning Institute in partnership with The Housing Corporation and English Partnerships.
